Final Money In The Bank Qualifiers This Week
WWE will finalize the fields for both 2026 Money in the Bank Ladder Matches this Friday on SmackDown, with two Triple Threat qualifying matches scheduled for the October 2 episode.
On the men’s side, Cody Rhodes, Kevin Owens and Johnny Gargano will compete for the sixth and final spot in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match. WWE officially announced the matchup on September 30, noting that Rhodes will temporarily shift his focus away from his ongoing rivalry with Randy Orton as he attempts to earn a future championship opportunity. Owens and Gargano have also remained involved in the Undisputed WWE Championship picture in recent weeks.
The women’s field will also be completed on Friday, as Tatum Paxley, Tiffany Stratton and Candice LeRae meet in a separate Triple Threat qualifying match. The winner will claim the final available position in the women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match.
Five competitors have already qualified for each match.
The men’s field currently includes Bron Breakker, Je’Von Evans, United States Champion Trick Williams, Penta and CM Punk.
The women’s field consists of Sol Ruca, Lola Vice, Women’s United States Champion Jacy Jayne, Roxanne Perez and Lash Legend.
Money in the Bank will take place Saturday, October 10 at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans. The event is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. ET and will stream on the ESPN App with an ESPN Unlimited plan in the United States and on Netflix internationally.
Friday’s two qualifying matches will determine the complete six-person fields for one of WWE’s most recognizable stipulation matches, with the eventual winners receiving the Money in the Bank contract and the opportunity to pursue a future world championship.
SmackDown airs Friday at 8 p.m. ET on USA Network.
