Avery Styles Makes TNA In-Ring Debut at Bound For Glory; Kazarian Targets Tag Titles

Avery Styles made his TNA in-ring debut at Bound For Glory 2026, surviving over 30 minutes before Frankie Kazarian announced tag title plans.

Avery Styles, the 19-year-old son of AJ Styles, made his TNA Wrestling in-ring debut at Bound For Glory on Sunday, October 11, 2026. Entering the Call Your Shot Gauntlet at number two, Styles lasted more than 30 minutes and reached the final four before AJ Francis eliminated him.

Although Styles did not win the match, the night ended with an unexpected development: Frankie Kazarian announced plans to use his Call Your Shot opportunity to pursue the TNA World Tag Team Championship alongside Styles.

Avery Styles Impresses in TNA In-Ring Debut

Styles opened the gauntlet opposite Trey Miguel at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida. Throughout the contest, he faced established names from the TNA roster while remaining in the match until its closing stages.

He eliminated Joe Alonzo and Mr. Elegance, ultimately reaching the final four with Miguel, Kazarian and Francis. Francis then knocked Styles from the ring, ending a debut performance that had lasted more than half an hour.

Kazarian went on to defeat Miguel by pinfall after the field narrowed to its final two competitors. The win marked his third consecutive Call Your Shot Gauntlet victory.

Frankie Kazarian Announces Tag Team Championship Plans

Later in the broadcast, Kazarian revealed that he intends to use the championship opportunity earned through his gauntlet victory to challenge for the TNA World Tag Team Titles with Styles as his partner.

TNA had not announced a date for the prospective championship match at the time of publication. Nevertheless, Kazarian’s announcement puts Styles in the conversation for a major title match immediately after his first TNA bout.

Following the Styles Family Legacy in TNA

Styles signed with TNA in August 2026, announcing the move at Lockdown. He made his professional wrestling debut on June 26 at an SCA Wrestling event in Georgia, several weeks before joining TNA.

His arrival carries special significance given the history of his father, AJ Styles, whose work helped establish TNA during the promotion’s early years. Kazarian’s involvement provides another connection to that history, having worked extensively with AJ Styles during their careers.

Bound For Glory represented an important early milestone for Avery Styles: his first TNA in-ring appearance, two eliminations in a high-profile gauntlet, and the prospect of challenging for tag team gold alongside an established veteran.
