Speedball bowed to the groupies, that made me laugh.

They gave Andrade a frame for his contract

Squash, no rating.

Speedball's kicks rule.

Myron recovers from a pre match House call in record time

the flow of this match is confusing.

Reed is impressive as hell
Swerve is making him look great

I hate how people have to sit up for the swerve stomp. Its not as bad as Speedballs finisher setup, but its frustrating watching a dude move in position and sitting up to receive something. Visible cooperation takes me out of it every time

Both guys are great, but this one did not resonate with me

The camera stayed on Rocky for too long and ruined a dope spot.
Squash match, no rating.

Carli is great, he just needs to tone down the cartoony shit a little and he can be a legit star

Claudio holding Shane Taylor up in a standing suplex is nuts

Big show thinks its really funny to call a suplex a "sue play"

Well timed, fun match. Marina gets the sub victory as a message to Mercedes and a tribute to PAC via brutalizer.

*I still have not seen the first match at the time of writing this*
FTR chants from the Winston Salem fans before it splits into a 30/70 chant in FTRS favor

I mean, its what you expect: technically sound wrestling. I don't necessarily agree with the best of 5 angle, but i don't think these guys could have a bad match if they tried.

FTR hits a shatter machine, but they do an absurd thing right before. Dax flips Cash for some reason, and it really bothered me. I rewound it 3 times to try to make sense, but its nonsensical. IDC what logic you marks make up for this, its unnecessary and extremely out of character for FTR. If you are reading this and thinking "it was to get him in postion", no... he could have just stepped in front of him, or moved him behind him with a shove. The flip is so damn out of place. Oh it makes me mad.

FTR wins dirty

A classic dynamite so far with a white hot crowd. Lets see how they cap it off. A lot of fresh eyes on the product tonight i imagine.

dog, Speedball almost killed a little girl with a kick and slap on his entrance and she no sold the near miss hahahaha wtf just happened

Excalibur makes the Darby and Ilja comparison in a very competent manner.

Dude its been a while since ive seen Ilja work, and my god is he the personification of intensity.

They are off to a nearly perfect start

justified this is awesome chant

This shit is actual art.
Maybe im buying into the hype, but whatever, this is so damn enjoyable

they did a fucking karate kid spot and it hitttttt

what a debut, what a show. so satisfied

#1 Contender match for the TBS title.
Britt Baker and Persephone on commentary.

Maya has a fun leg lariat, into a front flip kip up. So dope

Percy and Britt are not helping. Idk why they keep doing this. I wanna like Percy, but the commentary work is insanely bad. Britt is just talking, adding nothing.
Its distracting from the very dope match these ladies are having.

Aminatas finishing combo is frigggin sweet.

Good stuff.

Continental Title Eliminator Match
They flow right from Marina answering Mercedes open invitation for a new challenger.
Emphasis on the word flow. This show has great pacing and keeps flowing beautifully from one segment to the next.
This has the potential to be a classic dynamite if they keep this pace. I love it.

Taz said it best.. "Roddy is so technically sound"
Actually, ill shout taz out here... he is shining in this match so far. Comparing the similar styles and overall including a decent amount of insight.

Hard hitting, fun match so far.

10 minute warning goes off

Not long after Roddy gets put in a sleeper hold and taps.

I wanted more, but that just means it was good i suppose.

Garcia and Yuta having a weird moment in their entrance, capped off with a nice slap of the butt from Yuta i believe.
Solid Midcard match, nothing outstanding, but rock solid.

Idt they even said the kids name. Swerve didn't even wear his ring gear. Poor jobber.

holy shit chants to kick it off and honestly, justified. What an unexpected match
man, Copeland has been on some other shit lately. He has been impressing the hell out of me.
this is a ppv level match
FLETCHER FUCKING RULES DUDE. WATCH THE MATCH AND YOU KNOW THE EXACT POINT IN WHICH I AM TYPING THIS. NO EXPLANATION NECCESARY

Okada helps pick up the dirty win and busts edge open the hard way with a belt shot. Instant hematoma forming

Beatdown after the match and Don Callis family is looking so damn strong tonight.

Darby and Borden show up and it looks like we got our Blood and Guts setup.

Show is off to a crazy start.

A title eliminator match
Hot start
This was a squash that made sense when you consider what happened at wrestledream. The Bucks were worn down and paid the price for it.
I cant really rate this because the bucks got no offense in, but god damn, i loved it.

not really a match

Hechicero can get as creative as he wants with Darby when it comes to these fun submission holds. Darby is selling his ass off for this dude, super vocal with his sells.
OMG moment for me on that apron spot. legitmately said OMG out loud in a room by myself. Darby is fucking nuts (news flash)
Hechicero is great man, he is so inventive and hard hitting. His shit looks great.
Hechicero did a spot that looked like a botch, but im fairly certain wasnt. you gotta see it to judge for yourself.
Loved it.

I'm high on Luna, excited she is here. She has been on my list of people to keep an eye on for a little while now.
Not that high on Hyan (word play joke) not sure why, she just doesn't do it for me. Hopefully things change.
Persephone works well with Luna. It's actually the only time that i am impressed by her work.
Hyan has a nice spear
Luna gets a pinfall on a former World Champion in her first win in AEW. Love it.

Two smooth as butter workers. Love seeing Ace wrestle. Not even that bothered by him losing, because his time will come. I truly believe he is inevitable.
Ricochet did a backflip into a dead lift german, and it looked great.
Ricochet pulls of the best wrestling headbutt of all time. I watched it no less than 6 times and it looked great and impactful on every take,

So much experience in this match.
The little things were done right in this match. Nuance mattered here.
Solid finish.

Some fluid combos in this match.
Blue works well with Bayne.
Thekla rules
i love how Bayne just yells peoples names occasionally, its fun. I love so much about her, she is a superstar in the making.
Decent finish. I enjoyed this match more than i expected.

Why is Myron in this match? They explained why everyone else was here, did i miss it?

Solid match. Cages avalanche hurricanrana was cool, but took too long and required too much visible cooperation.

Clockwork Chaos Qualifier
Copelands best match I've seen since he has been in AEW.

Clockwork Chaos Qualifier
